Thank you for joining us Friday, Oct. 24, to nourish your body, feed your soul, and strengthen the work of housing our most vulnerable neighbors…

We are so grateful for your support in this challenging time. You made a big difference!

Our fundraising luncheon marked 32 years of helping our most vulnerable neighbors. As housing prices remain unaffordable for thousands of Central Florida families and individuals, you stood with us in bringing safety, stability, and dignity to people struggling with homelessness.

We were honored to welcome Jesse Leon, author of I’m Not Broken, whose extraordinary life story speaks to the resilience of the human spirit and the power of community. His keynote address challenged and inspired us to do more — and to do it together.

We also honored the work of Kim Fogle, founder and CEO of Central Florida Home for Good, who invested her hard-earned retirement savings in helping our community add critically needed affordable housing for working families. Kim was the recipient of the 2025 Thomas C. Chatmon Jr. Community Champion Award, named for our late, great board chairman.

We also heard a profound, poignant testimonial from Jason Sabbath, who became homeless after losing both legs to a life-threatening infection. Jason shared the desperation and vulnerability of living on the streets with a disability — and the vital need to continue housing programs that address that population.

We were fortunate to have the presenting sponsorship of AdventHealth and the financial support of FTI, Universal Orlando, Wells Fargo, the city of Orlando, Orange County, Cogent Bank, Orlando Magic, Orlando Health, Orange Blossom Family Health, JPMorgan Chase, Sharity, Central Florida Home for Good, the Heart of Florida United Way, CareerSource Central Florida, Greater Orlando Sports Commission, Jordan Krumbine of Emergency Creative, and Bob & Mary Recchia Brown.

We also want to thank Orlando Sentinel Columnist Scott Maxwell, our volunteer emcee, who stuck with us through several last-minute programming changes without complaint and did a masterful and entertaining job.
