Are you currently homeless?
See below for a list of Central Florida locations where you can meet with a triage specialist. If you are unable to visit in person, please call 2-1-1 or go to hfuw.org/get-help/211-help/ for assistance 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Important: If you are a military veteran in need, please call 2-1-1 or (407) 743-5117, visit a Hub, or email veteran@hsncfl.org.
For all others, please know…
The Hubs listed below are safe locations where people experiencing homelessness can meet with trained workers to explore housing resources.
Unfortunately, most emergency shelters, particularly those for families, are full, and housing programs do have waiting lists. But Hub workers will do everything possible to help you explore alternatives to being on the streets. They'll discuss your situation and try to connect you with housing resources.
Housing assistance depends on your eligibility, and it is not typically provided at the time of your initial visit. People will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis until 15 to 20 minutes before closing to ensure each person has sufficient time with the triage specialist. You can also visit an “Access Point,” which are locations at partner organizations that operate on additional days, typically during business hours. (See section below Hubs for Access Point locations, times and populations served.)
Note that families do not need all members present at this initial meeting — only the head of household.
